2000 dager uten LTI (Lost Time Injury)
Inter Caledonia har nylig oppnådd 2000 dager med sikker operasjon uten fraværsskader (Lost Time Injuries, LTI).

Dønnalaks med et kort stopp innom Vegsund Slip, før hun fortsatte turen mot Island, for oppstart av sin langtidsavtale med Laxar Fiskeldi ehf.
Intership forsterke teamet
Vi har gleden av å introdusere våre to nye medarbeidere, Rakel Dyrhaug og Stian Engjaberg.
Rakel har nylig startet i en ny posisjon som Administrasjonssjef. Hun har over 20 års erfaring innenfor salg, næringsutvikling, administrasjon og ledelse fra ulike bransjer.
Stian har betydelig brønnbåterfaring og har tidligere vært både Kaptein og hatt stillinger på land, innenfor vår organisasjon. Han vil nå starte i stilling som Prosjektleder.

Ny langtidskontrakt
Ny langtidskontrakt som utvider vår operasjon til Island.
Vi har inngått en langtidsavtale med Laxar Fiskeldi for brønnbåten “Dønnalaks”.
MS Dønnalaks har siden medio 2017 operert i området rundt Vancouver Island på vestsiden av Canada. Denne operasjonen vil avsluttes i april 2020, og båten starter samtidig på en langtidskontrakt med Laxar Fikseldi. Dønnalaks ble bygget i 2002 av Sletta verft AS. Fartøyet er 52 meter langt og har en totalkapasitet på 1000m3, fordelt på to brønner.
Daglig leder Ole Peter Brandal kommenterer at. «Vi er glade for kontrakten med Laxar Fiskeldi og ser framt til samarbeidet. Vi har en internasjonal strategi og vi ser at aktørene på Island planlegger vekst, så strategisk sett er dette en viktig kontrakt for oss.»

Acquisition of “Bjørg Pauline” and rent back
Acquisition of “Bjørg Pauline” and rent back
Intership have reached an agreement with Nordlaks to buy their wellboat “Bjørg Pauline”. After the sale, Nordlaks will rent back the wellboat on a time charter contract.
“We have had a very skilled crew on board “Bjørg Pauline” and we are pleased that the transfer will not lead to insecurity for our colleagues even if the boat changes ownership. It is also good news for Nordlaks, since the boat with crew is chartered back and will be in service for us as before. This ensures continuity and we are confident that the service will maintain the same high quality as before”, said Roger Mosand, Deputy CEO of the Nordlaks Group.
The wellboat “Bjørg Pauline” was delivered to Nordlaks in 2010, and was at the time the world’s largest wellboat, based on cargo volume. Since then the vessel has transported live salmon and trout at all stages.
“Bjørg Pauline” is still a state-of-the-art wellboat. It is a good workplace and has the capacity and equipment necessary for the safety of the crew, and to take care of fish welfare and bio-safety. Nordlaks is in a significant investment phase and the wellboat is sold to release capital for other investment projects”, continued Mosand.

Today, we have our main activity internationally, but we have a clear ambition to take a significant position in Norway as well, and Nordlaks will thus be an important customer for us. “Bjørg Pauline” is a modern and particularly well-maintained wellboat, and we are pleased that the crew joins our company Intership. The honor for the boat’s reputation and good condition is essentially theirs”, said Ole Peter Brandal, Managing Director of Intership.
