Intership started the process together with KIWA AS in September this year with examination and verification of both the organization on land and vessel in operation.
– Global GAP has been a goal for Intership and we see it as a useful tool for both our company and our customers. Intership wanted to contribute to ensure the delivery, fish welfare and food safety for our customers through this Declaration of Conformity. CMO Joar Gjerde says that «We hope that this can contribute to a strengthened relationship between our existing customers, in addition to potential new ones».
The Declaration of Conformity is also confirming that the quality of the product and services that Intership offers is of high standards, and that we take fish welfare very seriously, says Ingolf Sverre Eikrem, HSEQ Manager in Intership.
It is a stated objective for Intership to always deliver the highest quality of live-fish handling and transportation to our customers. This declaration confirms that Intership as an organization has taken another step in the right direction.
